What an awful start for a morning I got today. I looked out from our room's window when I woke up, and all I see is clouds and rain. Yesterday we had a terrifyingly good weather with sunshine and warmth. So I guess it'll have to come home to roost now. Well here I am, at work, writing a real time post, for once! Usually I don't have time, and in the evening, if I have time to write about work, I don't remember anything or can't think of anything to write.
At the moment my very "responsible" task to do is to keep an eye on the Quiet Room in the Learning Centre, and make sure that people don't talk, eat or do anything that might disturb the others in the room. Also I'm logged in the booking system, if anyone wants to book a PC, extend the booking or so on. Compared to usual, it's pretty sedate and luckily there're no issues with the PCs. Mostly the students just don't know how to use the printer or save a file, and that's something I can help them with. But when the computers actually crash - I wash my hands out of it. :D That happens quite often still.
Well what else? I'll have my one hour lasting lunch break with the girls (Milla, Miina and Marianna) in twenty minutes - yay! Later in the afternoon I'll be again doing some tasks in the Library; dealing with withdrawn books and processing books (before they will be put on a shelf). Even the tasks here are not the most interesting and ground-breaking, I won't complain, because I like it here. Mostly because my workmates are great! But one thing always happens when I listen to one of my workmates talking (it can be anyone from the Library, you name it), I start feeling very sleepy. AND IT'S NOT because they are boring OR because I'd be tired, it's only because of their SCOTTISH ACCENTS. I'm 100% sure of that.
